Lygos is newly released video wall software for real-time data analytics used in control rooms and office dashboards. Lygos enables collages of data visualizations, maps, and multimedia to be displayed on video walls. These visualizations can be real-time or animated. Users can interact with these visualizations and control video wall from PCs and tablets.
Its origin goes back to Data Observatory at Imperial College London. It started as a PhD project and turned into a commercial software by its developer on later years.
It is designed for Control Rooms. It can help companies and government agencies to real-time visualize transportation, logistics, manufacturing, utilities, energy, finance, smart cities, public safety through interactive, animated data displayed on data visualizations and maps on large screen areas of video wall. These entities can dynamically put different collages of data visualizations and maps for collaborative analytics, monitoring and tracking, presentations.
These collages of visualizations or large multi-layer maps allow unique perspectives to data.
